connectedhealth™

The healthier a companies employees the better motivated they will be. This in turn will lead to greater productivity impacting favourably on the bottom line.

Providng employee health benefits can be costly and whilst a vital part of an employees remuneration ADVO understand the need to contain costs.

Research by the ADVO Group indicated that companies often look at their employee health benefits individually. The consensus was that tying all the health related policies together was too difficult. Whilst a company may make a saving on one policy one year the long term trend was cost increases.

By understanding this, and the need to reduce cost in the longer term ADVO invested in designing the Connectedhealth™ approach.

Connectedhealth™ links disciplines, systems, providers and protocols. It is about what is done, when, and by whom. No product or service should be viewed in its singularity but collectively on how it interacts and supports others.

A joined-up solution brings immediate cost savings

Our approach is value rather than product driven. We seek to understand and define our clients’ workplace culture so as to make more effective use of financial and human resources.
The start point is awareness. The more specific the data analysis, the more bespoke can be the health programme. Its purpose is to arrest adverse health trends and support lifestyle change. Input is sought from insurers, and the health programme forms part of contract renewal negotiations. The changes indicated by the programme form an important part of the submission of data to the insurer, and make the case for cost concessions.
