It's recognised that employees are getting increasingly
stressed by the pressures of the modern world.
Stress now accounts for 13.5 million days off
every year in the UK, with one in five employees
considering their job to be very stressful.
The highest prevalence for self-reported stress,
depression or anxiety is in the 35-44 and 45-54
age groups. Incident rates for work-related stress,
depression or anxiety is highest amongst 16-34
age group with a higher proportion of females
affected (Source HSE). Compensation claims rose
from 506 in 2000 to 6,428 in 2001 with £321m
paid out (Source: TUC).
By implementing Employee Assistance Programmes,
a company can help control stress levels by
providing assistance on a range of issues.
The Advo Group will assess all market providers
to find the right product for your company,
providing a report that highlights the most
suitable options.
Once instigated, we will help promote the
programmes and their benefits to all your staff.
