The company has built up a large number of clients in its short history. But it’s not just our objective and constructive advice that our clients like. It’s the fact that we also manage the provision of healthcare and look after our clients’ ongoing needs. All staff are employed and we do not use any self employed sales people.

Also we’re Founder Members of the Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (A.M.I.I.), and the British Insurance Brokers Association (B.I.B.A.).
Why are we called Advo?
Health Decisions and GB Medicare were respected forces in health insurance. However both names undersold the independent nature of our specialist healthcare advice. The choice of the ADVO name communicates this by using the first 4 letters of ADVOcate – a Latin word meaning to call in a trusted, independent adviser.
The ADVO Group is just this - an independent trustworthy adviser
Why the Armadillo?
When developing the new corporate image for the Advo Group, we looked around for a distinct animal that summed up the health protection that we offer.
The Armadillo was chosen because of its natural protective armour and its unique ability to protect itself by rolling up into a rigid ball.
